A TOUR TO MOUNTAIN ADJARA - GREEN LAKE

Tour to the “Green Lake”, which is inaccessible to everyone and is located at an altitude of more than 2133m. above sea level.

"Mtsvane Tba" (Green Lake)  is located on the easternmost edge of Adjara. The name does not convey those unique shades that the lake can acquire in a few hours. A picturesque lake, bordered by coniferous trees, lies surrounded by majestic mountains. The view from above is amazing with its beauty. “Mtsvane tba” really turns green! And sometimes even blue. Imagine a small lake...silence... then a wind. And the hard leaves of the trees begin to whisper something. And you, with the music of the wind, look and see the ineffable color of water- a saturated bright green.

Going down to the lake you can see that the water at the shore is clear and light, but a little farther the water changes color and becomes saturated green and it is understood that the depth there is already great, approximately 20 meters. This depends on the degree of rain and melting snow. There is no fish in the lake, it does not freeze in winter. The lake is fed by underground keys. The clear and transparent water of the lake is slightly mineralized and suitable for drinking.

Look at the "Mtsvane Tba"! It strikes with its wildness, gentleness, pacification, and of course beauty.
